If you see a charge you don’t recognize: what to gather, who to contact, and what to avoid.

Before you panic: do a quick check
- Look at your purchase history on the platform (credits, tips, renewals).
- Check the billing descriptor — it may not match the site name exactly.
- Confirm whether there’s an auto‑renew or recent bundle purchase.
What to collect
- Date/time and amount.
- Any order IDs / receipts / email confirmations.
- Screenshots of your account purchase history.
Who to contact (order matters)
- Platform support first (refund/dispute policies vary).
- If you suspect fraud, contact your payment provider/bank.
- If there’s extortion or fraud, see Reporting resources.
Note: chargebacks can lead to account restrictions on some platforms. Treat them as a last resort after support channels.
